The ION G2 signifies the next generation of ION ice auger technology. If you’re looking for a 40V auger that is fast, smooth, and powerful—yet still lightweight—G2 is the pinnacle. The 8” ION G2 comes with two (2) 4Ah 40V Gen 2 batteries in the box, so you can always have a spare at the ready. Combined, these two batteries can drill up to 2400” of ice (8") or 1200” (10"), ensuring that you can drill all day with no worries. The durable composite bottom allows for a smooth metered cut, in the lightest possible package, all with incredible durability. More speed, more power, more holes, and less weight.

UP TO 2400 TOTAL INCHES OF ICE
Each battery cuts up to 1200 inches of ice per charge for a total of 2400 total inches of drilling power (8") or up to 600 inches of ice per charge for a total of 1200 total inches (10")
